The power box has been fitted 1/9/2013 12:58:15 PM  First of all a happy new year to you all and i hope that it brings you good health. I have fitted the power box to my Saab 9-5 taxi car and it certainly feels a little bit more powerful. The MPG figures are showing a small improvement but i think that it is a bit to early to tell. I am still a little scepticle of the improvements so i have decided to put the car on the rolling road at DS Automotive in Aylesbury. The guys there will check the power of the car in its standard form and then test the car with the power box fitted. Please wish me good luck as the car is due on the ramps this afternoon.

]]> http://blueribbonchauffeurs.co.uk/page5.php?post=6 When is an Executive Taxi Car a Cab? 12/28/2012 12:09:22 PM       The difference is that our  Taxi Cars need to be booked where as a Cab in Aylesbury can be taken off the ranks. We are all licensed by the same authority but have different operating instructions. This is very complicated to ourselves let alone the customers and explains the confusion in terms.]]>

]]> http://blueribbonchauffeurs.co.uk/page5.php?post=5 An exciting wait 12/28/2012 11:48:01 AM          The engine will gain more low down torque and driveability. This means less work through the gears  when carrying four passengers. A second benefit may be a slight improvement in fuel consumptions figures.   For yourselves the customer, the difference will be negligable. The car will be as smooth and as quiet as ever. The economical engine enables me to set competitive prices in the Airport Taxi / Executive Taxi market.

]]> http://blueribbonchauffeurs.co.uk/page5.php?post=4 Mind that bumper 12/27/2012 6:15:52 PM An early morning venture down a narrow road in Wingrave almost spelled disaster for the my rear bumber. The quick three point turn ended up in a very slow ten point turn as the turn round spot i had chosen was narrower than i had thought. With the dark night and rain making visability poor , i hadn't noticed that a concrete slope was directly behind me. The gentle graunching noise alerted me to the fact that i may be leaving behind  some of my blue paint.  I was gripped by the fear of a large repair bill for the bumper  that Saabs can be known for. Luckily ,although part of the bumper had been dislodged the actual damage was minimal. Despite the pooring rain, i was able to fix it back on with my emergency tool kit before i got to the customers house.  Thank goodness for that, and the moral of the story is don't always rely on the parking sensors.
